PUPD: Looking for Coach Volunteers

Coaches, the week of October 15, we are hosting our second “Play-Up” Practice Day program, where players who are “graduating” to a new age group in Fall 2019 are invited to practice with a team in the older age group one day this season. For example, a current U10 player born in 2009 would practice with a U13 team.

Play-Up Practice Day is an opportunity for kids to dip their toes in the water, meet some of the older players, and build some confidence—so that they stay involved in soccer.
Coach and player participation is not required; but, this is an easy way to help our soccer leagues to continue growing, and also build some excitement for future seasons. We rely on you and other coaches volunteering to host, and encouraging your current players to participate. Last spring, I received very positive feedback from the parents and players who signed up.

If you are interested in hosting up-and-coming guest players during your regular practice the week of October 15, please contact me by Friday (9/21). If you have any questions, let me know.
